Teena of the Preteena strip, is quite the tomboy.  This is one of those concepts that I look at and think "I can't imagine that."  I mean, I'd pay for the treatment she's fighting!

Brassieres!

Here are a few cartoons with a common theme.  Most of them aren't T per se, but I think most of us have a fondness for bras.  I've done Between Friends (Sandra Bell-Lundy) before and Preteena (Allison Barrows).  Preteena is a tomboy and I think the comics where her mom is trying to get her to be more feminine can resonate with us T's....  Why didn't our moms do that?

Sometimes I Feel the Same Way

Preteena is a, um, preteen.  She mostly hangs with her friends Stick and Gordon, and mostly avoids her teenage sister Jeri, who's of the "don't be ridiculous.  You'll never be as beautiful or desirable as me.  No-one will" mould.

Like Teena and Stick, I often feel that fashion magazines are not written with me in mind.  But I keep trying.  Click for the big picture.
