This series of Luann strips reminded me to write yesterday's post.  I love the way Greg Evans made "coming out as a gentleman" a metaphor for, well, coming out. 

Although Knute normally seems to be without shame, I guess he's the only character in the strip this would work with.  And the week has a great punchline at the end.

Why not.  He wore a two-piece bathing suit once.

OK.  This is the post I had planned for yesterday before I noticed that I never posted the punchline for the previous Luann.  Quick background: slacker boy has the hots for goth girl.  I kinda like her too.  They went together briefly, but it never seemed like a match made in heaven.  In fact, a long story line involved them trying to figure out what they'd both enjoy so they could go on a date.  They're high school kids.  For maximum enjoyment, click on each pic.

This Should Be Good

Luann is a strip about the life of a teenage girl. I like it ~ it gives me a taste of what I missed growing up.

Crystal (the goth) and Knut (the slob) went together for a short while. Tiffany (the blonde) is the I-am-full-of-myself-and-you're-all-jealous type who populate strips like this.

In the previous day's strip, Knut offered to help Crystal ("you model, I choose"). She declined.
