A Little Drafty

I noticed I have eight "drafts" among my posts.  Three were worthless.  Four are less so, but not really blog material.  One was just a note to myself:


I'm trying to figure out how I feel about comic drag.


I wrote that morsel about three years ago and I'm still not sure how I feel.

I' do know I'm not real happy about Caitlyn Jenner though.

    I'm of mixed feelings about Jenner too.... She seems like she was looking for a lot of publicity, but there was no way to avoid it in her position. Yet, she seems to be making it both easier and harder for us, as she had the advantage of money to get all the procedures needed to make her face and body look as feminine as possible. Most of us do not have her advantages, and as a result, may have unrealistic expectations put on us to live up to an aesthetic ideal because of her.

    I agree Caitlyn made "it" both easier and harder for us but she did what she wanted to do, when she wanted to do it. It matters little how she had the resources because she still came out as a woman! She is merely being what men want her to be.
