In 1978, the
National Lampoon produced a complete Sunday newspaper. This was an extreme extension of an earlier
Harvard Lampoon prank where they
replaced the front page of the Sunday New York Times with their own version. Thousands of unsuspecting subscribers woke to a bit of a shock that day.
The newspaper, the
Dacron Ohio Republican-Democrat
had news, entertainment, sports, television listings, and, of course, a colour comics supplement. The comics were parodies of other comics. Below is the "Blondie" parody.

If my memory serves me right, the "Women's" section of the Dacron Ohio Republican-Democrat had a story about a fashion show in which men modeled dresses.
